An opportunity has become available for several Pharmacists – Senior (Mental Health and Specialist Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Exercise professional judgement in the interpretation of policy and the formulation and implementation of change to current work practicesShare research evidence, participate in research and work with team/department to identify research gaps and take opportunities to engage academic partnersDeliver high level clinical review services as part of a multidisciplinary team in developing pharmaceutical care plans and monitoring patient outcomes for both inpatients and outpatientsApply sound professional judgement to complex caseloads, exercising independent decisions within the boundaries of legislation
About You
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in PharmacyA relevant post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy will be well regardedAHPRA RegistrationEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent part time and temporary full time (one permanent part time position, 38 hrs p.f. and one temporary full time position, up to 12 months with the possibility of extension)Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum, $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
