Based in Woolloongabba, our marketing and sales team is growing as our business goes through an expansion phase. We love to be at work Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm …. Yes, this position is office basedbut our facilities are second to none and the hours are flexible (38 hours per week, scheduled as driven by our content creation needs at our SEQ Venues. Some out of hours work from time to time including Saturdays or weekday evenings (paid).
About the role:
· Development of all marketing and promotional materials (i.e. advertisements, digital assets, brochures, displays, point of sale materials, packaging, flyers, corporate materials).
· Responsible for conceptual development of creative resources aligned with marketing and brand strategies.
· Prepare artwork files for in-house printing and/or external printers or publishers as required.
· Consult with the marketing team to ensure a clear understanding of project needs and a unified look and feel of corporate brands.
· Photoshop image development.
· Updating existing files with new content and generating files for different applications.
· Interpret print specifications and ensure that the working files match the specifications.
· Create compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
· Design eye-catching graphics, illustrations, and multimedia assets for social media posts, ads, and campaigns.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for social media initiatives.
Skills and experience:
Required
· 2+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer.
· Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e.: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
· Knowledge of InDesign style sheets and print production.
· Strong knowledge of digital asset requirements.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
· Creative thinker with solid attention to detail.
· We are looking for someone long term – so please no travellers.
· Locally based applicant - we don't want you travelling all day!
Preferred
· Completion of two years of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
· Web design experience is an asset.
