About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high quality, evidence-based psychology services (assessment and intervention) within a multidisciplinary team with infrequent need for direct clinical supervision.
  • Utilise high level communication skills (verbal and written) to work cooperatively and effectively with patients and their families, the multi-disciplinary team, the psychology team, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing, and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of psychology services.
