Cloudland is a multi-faceted venue comprising of 5 function and event spaces, a restaurant, cocktail bar and private booth spaces; Press Club, Valley Hops Brewery and Press Club, Empire Hotel and the Warehouse Function Centre which operates 3 function and event spaces. We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef who is passionate about food to join our award winning function team.
We are offering an annualised salary starting at $75 000, dependant on experience.
Skills and Experience
- Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking.
- Follow venue menu planning for preparation and cooking.
- Strong knowledge of preparation and presentation.
- A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
- Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations
- Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- 3 years relevant experience in a busy restaurant or function venue
This position's roster includes weekend and evening hours.
