In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a large business transformation program where you can demonstrate your ability to provide expert advice and facilitate fit-for-purpose solutions for both business process and IT solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and ensure proposed solutions are holistic, scalable and cost-effective; and validated as you bridge gaps throughout the transformation program.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer expert advice to understand problems, gather business requirements, and develop solution proposals.
  • Research, analyse, and report on solutions for complex issues, considering scalability, security, performance, prioritisation, and compatibility.
  • Develop and implement interim integration, reporting, and process control solutions during transformation programs.
  • Run workshops with stakeholders to define business problems and opportunities for efficiency or improved customer service.
  • Provide innovative advice on functional and non-functional requirements, including cross-program implications.
  • Enhance reporting and data analysis capabilities, working with data analysts to help business units interpret and act on data trends.
  • Support strategic decision-making through cost-benefit modelling and assist executives in guiding future strategies.
  • Collaborate with data and applications teams to maintain business analysis and architectural artefacts.

About you

You are a confident communicator with well-developed problem-solving skills and a proven ability to use data to find solutions for operational and strategic initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • A degree in technology, finance, business administration or engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in business, technology or finance roles and experience working in a nonprofit or similar mission driven organisation preferred.
  • IIBA recognised Business Analysis or CA, CMA or CPA qualification desirable.
  • Experience in eliciting business and technical requirements, developing problem statements and presenting strategic outcomes to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience and knowledge in technology disciplines including integration and data management and migration concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets to produce actionable insights with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to present complex financial and ICT concepts to non-finance and IT professionals to build commercial awareness and understanding.
  • Proficiency in system management and data analysis tools.
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office products particularly Excel and Power BI.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the community and public housing sectors.
  • Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing
  • Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)

Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
