We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientated Strata Assistant to assist with the day-to-day operations of a strata portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the strata manager for one or multiple portfolios for overall administration management and customer service. The strata assistant will work closely with one or more strata managers, committees, property owners, tenants and contractors to ensure the smooth running of strata properties.

About the Role:

•Assist with overall administration management of one or more portfolio’s, including and not limited to submitting maintenance requests, writing and sending correspondence, attending and assisting with meetings, maintaining body corporate registers and records, and communicating with internal and external clients.

•Preparation of committee and general meeting notices, minutes and other legislative documentation.

•Liaising with various groups such as committee members, owners, real estate agents, solicitors, contractors and any other relevant body to assist with queries, requests and conflict resolution, to ensure relations are professionally maintained for every strata property.

•Provide excellent, proactive customer service to clients based on reported and observed issues.

•Availability to attend meetings with strata managers from time to time, as needed, including after hours meetings.

•Respond to phone, email and any other written communications within KPI timeframes to maintain a high level of service.

•Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers through customer focus that will enhance the reputation of the organisation.

•This is an office-based position, administration intensive, high attention to detail role.


About You:

•High energy with the ability to juggle competing priorities, with a proactive, “can do’ attitude.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel in particular).

•Ability to trouble shoot in a variety of situations before escalation.

•Preferred IT knowledge.

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration (desirable).

•Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to demonstrate

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to demonstrate.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to demonstrate.
