The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with standards and providing leadership to a team of cleaners. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, maintain cleaning standards, and work closely with both commercial and residential clients, including NDIS participants. You'll ensure services are delivered with empathy and understanding, supporting the well-being of clients and maintaining a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision : Lead, mentor, and train a team of cleaners, promoting a supportive work environment focused on growth and collaboration.
- Operational Management : Oversee the cleaning operations across assigned sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Client Engagement : Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and NDIS participants to ensure services meet their unique needs and expectations.
- Site Audits & Reporting : Conduct regular site inspections to maintain cleaning standards and address any issues. Provide accurate reports on performance metrics and safety compliance.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
What You Bring
- Leadership : Proven experience in supervising cleaning teams or similar roles, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Operational Experience : At least 1-2 years of experience in the cleaning or facility services sector, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
- Empathy & Understanding : Ability to work effectively with clients, particularly in residential and care environments.
- Strong Communication Skills : Ability to liaise with clients, manage relationships, and resolve issues professionally.
- Systems Proficiency : Experience using systems for rostering, auditing, and reporting.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to manage compliance reporting, timesheets, and ensure high standards are upheld.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver Licence
