The Ngrragoonda Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NAC) was established as a result of the two native title consent determinations of the Gudjula People in March of 2014. The Gudjula People are the recognised traditional owners of approximately 10,617 square kilometres of land across the Regional Shire Councils of Etheridge, Flinders, and Charters Towers.
We are currently seeking to appoint a key position within our group: Project Facilitation Manager.
A primary responsibility of this role will be to establish and manage our Ranger Program, which spans a land mass of 10,617square kilometers across the Charters Towers, Etheridge, and Flinders Shires.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a similar sector, such as land or wildlife management.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created role will have the scope to generate income and coordinate projects that align with the group's Values and Mission.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish key relationships to promote and foster the delivery of services across a portfolio
- Develop and implement the Gudjala People Ranger program including the establishment of appropriate processes and systems.
- Establish and document work plans and key deliverables to meet the board and community expectations.
- Train and mentor staff to deliver services in accordance with Gudjala practices and processes.
- Provide leadership as it pertains to the Native Title Act 1993 & Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003.
The ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong desire to make a difference in the community.
- Knowledge of the Cultural Heritage Act and the ability to work within the guidelines.
- Cultural Competency including an understanding of Aboriginal culture and a commitment to fostering respectful and culturally safe workplaces.
- Ability to document and create work systems and processes to ensure service delivery standards.
- Strong Leadership and Vision with an ability to build, mentor, and lead a team in a culturally sensitive environment.
- Resilience and Adaptability.
- Capability to navigate the complexities of working in remote settings and building personal credibility.
- Demonstrated experience with technology and the ability to work within both the field and office based environments.
- Commitment to Development: Passion for coaching and developing themselves and others, driving leadership capability in daily interactions.
- Training and development experience will be seen as advantageous in this role.
