We have an opportunity for an experienced, production-oriented individual with steel processing knowledge to take charge of our Wacol processing operations .
About the Role
Reporting to the Factory Manager , the Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across a three-shift operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage processing operations to meet production and output targets.
- Collaborate with other supervisors to maintain seamless production across all shifts.
- Work closely with internal departments to coordinate production needs efficiently.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering skill development and flexibility.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage costs to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure all products meet strict quality control standards.
- Maintain compliance with WHS management system requirements and safety standards.
About You
You are an experienced leader with a background in manufacturing or steel processing, skilled in building strong relationships, adapting to changing priorities, and driving solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Steel processing and/or manufacturing industry experience (advantageous).
- Warehousing and materials handling experience (desirable).
- Strong organizational and managerial skills, with experience leading diverse teams.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and with customers.
- A hands-on approach, willing to support your team when needed.
