Job description:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of musculoskeletal conditions to establish precise diagnoses for effective treatment planning.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for a primarily musculoskeletal private caseload.
- Design and implement personalised treatment plans to facilitate patient recovery and enhance functional abilities.
- Deliver physiotherapy services to NDIS participants, aged care residents, workers' compensation clients, and home visit patients.
- Support elite athletes and sports teams with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, occupational therapists, and exercise physiologists, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to promote long-term well-being.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy.
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, or a related field, or higher qualification.
- Must possess at least a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- AHPRA registration is required.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Capable of educating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining clear documentation.
- Committed to providing compassionate care and supporting patients in their recovery journey.
- Ability to tailor treatment strategies to diverse patient needs and respond effectively to challenges.
- Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Engaged in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest physiotherapy advancements.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
