Placed.au is looking for a full-time Physiotherapist to work for our client in Hobart, Tasmania. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. You will work with a variety of clients, including NDIS participants, aged care residents, workers' compensation clients, and home visit patients, as well as elite athletes and sports teams.

Job description:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of musculoskeletal conditions to establish precise diagnoses for effective treatment planning.
• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for a primarily musculoskeletal private caseload.
• Design and implement personalised treatment plans to facilitate patient recovery and enhance functional abilities.
• Deliver physiotherapy services to NDIS participants, aged care residents, workers' compensation clients, and home visit patients.
• Support elite athletes and sports teams with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, occupational therapists, and exercise physiologists, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to promote long-term well-being.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy.

Qualifications/Attributes:

• Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, or a related field, or higher qualification.
• Must possess at least a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• AHPRA registration is required.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Capable of educating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining clear documentation.
• Committed to providing compassionate care and supporting patients in their recovery journey.
• Ability to tailor treatment strategies to diverse patient needs and respond effectively to challenges.
• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Engaged in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest physiotherapy advancements.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
