About the role
Join the dedicated team at Ten Lives Cat Centre as a casual Animal Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and support to the cats in our shelter. You will work as part of a close-knit team to maintain the highest standards of animal welfare and ensure a safe, clean, and enriching environment for our feline residents.
What you'll be doing
- Providing daily care and attention to the cats, including feeding, socialising and moving cats within or to/from the centre.
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the shelter, including but not limited to cat enclosures and all associated tools and accessories, floors, walls, laundry and wash bay to a hospital grade standard.
- Monitoring and recording the cats' health and behaviour, and reporting any concerns to the supervisor.

- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the best possible care for cats.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
