About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health (SRN 3), you will take on a leadership role in mental health triage, acute assessment, crisis intervention, and case management. This position requires a dynamic and adaptable nurse who is confident in working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a remote hospital setting.
You will be responsible for:Conducting mental health triage and acute assessmentsPerforming risk assessments and developing safety plansDelivering crisis intervention and stabilisation strategiesProviding ongoing case management and care coordinationSupporting and mentoring other team members in best practicesCollaborating with hospital teams and external services for seamless client care What We're Looking ForRegistered Nurse with AHPRA registrationExperience in mental health triage, crisis response, and case managementStrong leadership skills with the ability to work in remote settingsAbility to manage complex mental health presentationsCommitment to culturally safe care, particularly in Aboriginal communitiesCurrent Police Clearance, Working with Children Check & Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain) Ready for a new challenge?
