IntroductionWe are seeking to increase our team of assessors who conduct several types of vocational assessments of people with a disability in employment, for the National Panel of Assessors (NPA) in Hobart.
The opportunityThese Contracting roles are on an ABN/invoicing arrangement and are as work demands and well suited to work in with your business, other part time work or contracting services.
Training and accreditation in the assessment tools will be provided. An induction, ongoing professional development and support will also be provided.
About youDiploma or higher-level qualification in a field of relevance such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology, other allied health or disability servicesMinimum 2 years' practical experience in disability employment or related sectorsGood assessment and report writing skillsSound computer skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders including the client and employers
The ProgramOngoing Support Assessments (OSAs) are used to determine the appropriate level of ongoing support that a participant needs to maintain their employment. The purpose of a Supported Wage System (SWS) Assessment is to determine the productivity of a person with disability working in the open labour market.
