Facilities & Asset Manager
Date: 18 Mar 2025 Location: Adelaide, SA, AU, 5000 Company: Ventia The OpportunityVentia is seeking a Facilities & Asset Manager to manage the CALHN (Central Adelaide Local Health Network) Statewide Clinical Support Services sites across South Australia. This position is part of our Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract and will be responsible for overseeing the management of subcontractors, to ensure the smooth delivery of facilities management services for our client, SA Health.
This is a permanent full-time position based in South Australia with a focus on supporting the Statewide Clinical Support Services sites. The role will require travel across the Adelaide metro and regional areas with occasional on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities
As the Facilities & Asset Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee on-site trade work, ensuring compliance with standards, specifications, and timelines, while managing both internal and subcontracted teams.
- Operational Support & Asset Reliability: Coordinate complex maintenance functions to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of site assets.
- Client & Communication: Communicate with clients, suppliers, and the service delivery team regarding maintenance actions and progress.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Safety Leadership: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards, and lead safety initiatives within the team.
- Teamwork & Ethics: Foster a collaborative environment, support improvement initiatives, and adhere to company values, ensuring integrity and respect.
Key Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification. (Highly desirable)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence (Required)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Required or willing to obtain)
- Experience in the delivery of trade services within a hospital or healthcare environment. (Highly desirable)
- Proven leadership experience, managing trades within a service delivery model to meet client expectations and standards.
