Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the team. This pivotal role involves spearheading business development efforts, focusing on client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives aimed at expanding presence in the commercial office design and construction market. Proposal and Contract Management:
- Review proposals from the projects team (PM's) and present proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with company goals and client expectations.
Market Research and Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute an effective sales strategy and plan to align with the company's business plan and expand the company's market presence.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lead sources, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial office design and construction sector.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the projects teams (PM's) to ensure client requirements are met.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Set and achieve sales targets, focusing on revenue and margin.
- Monitor and report on business development activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of the SEQ commercial office design and construction industry.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends and client needs.
- Proficiency in managing a sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
- Experience with CRM tools for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships.
- Creative problem-solving capabilities to adapt strategies and overcome challenges.
- Strong collaboration skills to sync sales plans with marketing and operational teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools to support integrated sales efforts.
