Position: Quality Assurance Officer
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer with experience in meat processing operations to be based at our Wingfield facility. This is a permanent position based on the Dayshift.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes meet or exceed regulatory requirements and industry standards for quality and food safety.
Your new role will include:
● Pre-operational inspections.
● Maintaining Quality Records, Product Specifications, and other Quality Data to ensure the Quality Assurance reporting structures are upheld.
● Implementing and following up on the Company’s Quality Policy and Documented Quality Management System.
● Liaising with customer quality teams to ensure all specifications are up to date, products are compliant, and consumer satisfaction is maintained.
● Monitoring HACCP processes to identify and address potential hazards effectively.
● Inspecting cartons for compliance with specification and temperature requirements.
Skills and Experience:
● A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar field
● Certificate IV in QA is desirable
● Expertise in Quality Assurance and HACCP Principles
● Computer application and user skills
● Organised and detail-oriented
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to identify critical aspects of production
● Internal auditing experience and qualifications
