About You
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Primary School Teachers to join our team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Primary education principles and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. You should be committed to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. As a Primary School Teacher at Iqra College, you will play a vital role in inspiring a love for learning, fostering critical thinking skills, and wonder in our students.
About the Role
Please note this position can be a permanent contract with IQRA College
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement dynamic and interactive lessons that align with the Australian Curriculum and the values of Iqra College.
• Have sound knowledge of primary year levels learning.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.
• Be passionate about how learning occurs and utilize a variety of appropriate pedagogies to engage students and enhance their understanding of concepts.
• Be creative in assessing student progress through ongoing formative and summative assessments and provide feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular initiatives and extracurricular activities that enrich the learning experience.
• Be able to set high standards for student learning and their own performance
Qualifications and Skills:
• Degree in Education or relevant field.
• Valid teaching certification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
• Demonstrated experience working with primary school-aged children.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum (the ability to integrate Islamic values into teaching practices is optional).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
