We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Project Manager for our major infrastructure project as part of a intercity fibre network build. This complex project spans the diverse Australian landscapes, installing a national, sovereign fibre backbone. Our portion covers over 6000 km from Melbourne through Adelaide to Perth and back. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:Full lifecycle Project Management of telecommunications infrastructure workResourcing and program management to ensure critical program milestones are achievedProvide leadership and management that engages, motivates and inspires the delivery team to deliver high performance in an achievement driven cultureEffective and professional management of relationships with multiple stakeholder groups throughout the project life cycleConsistently producing and driving high-quality outcomes, meeting both Fulton Hogan and client expectations. How you'll connect to the role:Experience on construction projects in telecommunications or heavy civil industries advantageousA successful track record of delivering safe construction projects on time and on budgetA good understanding of control systems and experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioningKnowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functionsAbility to travel remotely from time to time as requiredAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture.
