The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for a Senior Multimedia Designer to join the Communications & Public Affairs Team.

This ongoing, hybrid/flexible position can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth.

Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS6 - $94,563 - $106,394 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Senior Multimedia Designer leads the delivery of high-quality design services for the Administrative Review Tribunal, creating products that are accessible and engaging across multiple platforms and channels.

You will be a part of a small but dynamic Communications and Public Affairs team that values creativity and collaboration. We offer challenging work in a supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development and flexibility, including for people who work remotely.

In this role, you will:

  • have an impact: your designs will shape how the Tribunal communicates with the public and key stakeholders.
  • be a brand expert: as the custodian of the Tribunal's brand, you will ensure the brand is applied clearly and consistently internally and externally.
  • make a difference: your innovative designs will help the Tribunal be accessible to our diverse audience and meet the needs of users.

About you:

To be successful you will have:

  • demonstrated skills and experience in designing products across different mediums, including animation, graphic and web design.
  • highly developed skills, knowledge, and experience in relevant industry standard software
  • (Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite)
  • detailed understanding of the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the
  • Australian Government's Digital Service Standard
  • demonstrated understanding and experience in interpreting brand style guides and how to apply them
  • previous experience in large-scale brand implementation and multimedia design.

Your success in this role depends on your written communications capabilities. You must not use any generative AI to assist you with your application.

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a field of study relevant to some or all of the required capabilities, OR 4 years of experience in a similar work environment
