About Berry Springs Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
Berry Springs OSHC offers community After School Care and Vacation Care for children from Pre-School to Grade 6. Committed to quality care and educational practice, the center encourages children to view OSHC as an extension of their family, fostering a welcoming environment where they can create safe play spaces, develop a sense of belonging, and build friendships. Through play and task allocation, educators help children strengthen their abilities and bring out the best in them.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced OSHC Educator to join the Berry Springs team on a Part-Time basis. There is also a Casual option covering leave or as needs basis.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families.
- Use families' knowledge to help children's learning.
- Build trust and respect with other educators.
- Share knowledge and support team strengths and diversity.
What You Need
- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
- Experience working in OSHC services desirable but not essential
- Experience working with Children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid OCHRE Card or willing to obtain
