Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced CASUAL General Utility staff to join our Village Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the Mid-West, WA.

Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to support a Minesite Village. From maintaining a high standard of daily food preparation, dining room service for the Residents at the Village, to the cleaning and general upkeep of > 600 Accommodation Rooms, Village and/or Minesite facilities – All areas are kept clean, orderly, and properly always maintained.
Duties include:
- Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
- Appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
- Assist other departments from time to time, if required
- Assistance with the provision of high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals including bulk food preparation, labelling etc.
- Ensure the main facility and all designated work areas are held to a high standard of presentation and cleanliness; ensure all kitchenware is washed and stored and rubbish is removed to standard, and service and working areas are kept neat and tidy
- Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
- Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
- Laundry duties such as removal and replacement of linen/towels, sorting, folding and storage
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels, assist with EOM stock take audits
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety practices, in line with HACCP guidelines, procedures and documentation
- Maintenance of a Clean and Tidy vehicle
- Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions
- Notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance requests/issues required within the Village/Site
- Use and store chemicals appropriately, maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials
- Village Waste Management & Grounds / Utility Maintenance
About You
To join our team, you will be an experienced Bus Driver (
You will possess:
- Basic food handlers’ certificate
- VALID WA C Class License
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Fit Testing, Functional Testing and Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Previous experience at a Minesite Village experience (desirable)
- The following experience / qualifications with Camp Facilities such as First Aid, Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager, ARO Certification and Cleaning (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and be a self-motivator
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
