This is for a Permanent part time, Fixed Term part time appointment at 72 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Infection Control team at Geraldton Regional Hospital – Midwest.

Position Profile
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to be responsible for Infection Control within Geraldton Regional Hospital based on the WACHS Infection Prevention program. To achieve a microbiologically safe environment for Patients and Staff through the implementation of hospital, State and National Guidelines for Infection Control and to act as a resource person in clinical risk assessment and management associated with the prevention of nosocomial infection and disease transmission.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months.
