About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Division Fertiliser Manager WA - North, this position is an exciting and vital frontline sales opportunity where you will work with farmers in the Mid-West area of WA. The focus of this position is to ensure that our clients which include farmers and rural producers receive quality products when they need them, excellent service and superior advice they need to increase their crop yields and profitability. You will build solid long-term relationships with clients on farm; identifying needs and provide solutions. This role also involves working with our retail locations, external industry influencers and building relationships with the local communities across the Mid-West WA area to support the achievement of overall business goals.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate experience in a sales and business development role and a passion for providing the highest level of customer service. Tertiary qualifications in rural science, agronomy or related degree will be highly regarded. In addition, analytical and critical reasoning is required to respond effectively to customer queries and business needs. You will have a curious mind and focus on continuous improvement and have previous experience implementing operational, quality and customer service improvements. This role requires a high level of planning so attention to detail is key as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills.
