Fire Construction Manager – PerthLocation: Joondalup & Subiaco
Salary: $52 - $58 ph + Super + $18k vehicle allowance (or $11k allowance + fuel card) + 1 RDO Per Month
Hours : 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Depending on the project, can be flexible)
APAC FM are looking for an experienced Fire Construction Manager to join one of our global clients. You’ll be overseeing two major projects, mainly based in Joondalup and Subiaco. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in everything from pre-starts with the techs to managing the team and liaising with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run pre-start meetings with techs, discussing their workload and upcoming tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with HSE requirements and regulations.
- Plan, mobilize, and organize work schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Get hands-on with installs, commissioning, and fit-outs when needed.
- Ensure compliance checks are carried out once work is completed.
- Be the go-to point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day communication and attending weekly client meetings.
- Document works and manage reports.
- Lead toolbox talks and ensure the team stays informed on safety and project updates.
- Manage a team of 10 electrical and fire technicians
- Provide technical support to the team when required.
- Participate in occasional fit-outs if needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A Grade Electrical License, Open Cabling License, White Card, and EWP.
- Manual driver’s license is a must.
- Strong project planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage time, people, and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients and your team.
