The Role
The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the college, including setting the security alarm system; and conducting twice daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.
The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. In this role you should work well independently and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.

obtain a valid Working With Children Check consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit. be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
