About the Role:
WorkPac is currently seeking a Heritage Planning Specialist to join Rio Tinto in Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and management of the Traditional Owner Integrated Schedule to optimise utilisation of traditional owner time for surveys and engagements, and manage enabling processes for execution of business 12-month plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Execute maintenance of 12-month Traditional Owner Integrated Schedule.
- Support cadence on reporting cycles for short-term schedule and wider business quarterly planning updates
- Identify and report schedule issues to develop trade off recommendations and enable decision-making across the business.
- Support changes to plan through the established change management process and recommend trade-off decisions based on constraints.
- Development of annual planning schedule for heritage fieldwork and engagements.
- Support and upskill wider heritage team on system enhancements to simplify inputs and prioritisation of work in the Schedule, tracking of agenda / scopes and reconciliation of works.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Short-term Scheduling, Planning & Prioritisation
- Proficient with MS Suite and MS Projects
- Exposure to PowerBI
- Identify and guide to meet the capability and development needs of the scheduler team.
- Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Ability to drive performance to deliver outcomes
- Strong communication skills
