The Role
Knight Frank is seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our Asset Management Services team. The role involves supporting Senior Facilities Managers in the day-to-day management of assigned properties, ensuring that client assets are protected and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing and implementing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs.
  • Conduct regular building inspections, including common areas and plant rooms.
  • Help procure and tender services, engaging contractors under the appropriate contract formats.
  • Help maintain an accurate plant and equipment asset register and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor contractor works to ensure high-quality completion with minimal disruption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property managers, and contractors.
  • Assist with financial management, including managing expenditure, procurement, and invoicing
  • Manage work order process for a portfolio of assets

  • 2 years+ experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Building trade background preferred but not essential.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
