About Emily Taylor & Sailing for Oranges
Emily Taylor & Sailing for Oranges is in the heart of Fremantle and is looking for Passionate Senior chefs to join our Team. Both restaurant offering an innovative sharing-style menu, known for High quality food and using the freshest of ingredients. Emily Taylor focus on Asian Fusion adaptation of Hawker-style street food. Sailing for Oranges is Spanish/Mediterranean focused, serving great Iberian inspired drinks and food.
You will have a unique opportunity to join award winning restaurant and a team of Highly Motivated and Hard-working chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality hot breakfast and lunch dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas
- Assist in managing kitchen supplies and ordering stock
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Provide a positive and professional work environment
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar environment
- A Food Handling Certificate, or the ability to obtain one
- A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and relevant qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with a systematic approach to work
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
