About the Role:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing mission-critical infrastructure. You will contribute to the success of greenfield projects by leveraging your expertise in Linux systems engineering, and on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure to support complex and secure operations.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
- Enhance on-premises infrastructure to deliver scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for defence technology challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to ensure system integrity and uptime.
- Contribute to the automation of infrastructure processes and workflows.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Linux systems engineering, including deep technical knowledge of system architecture, configuration, and optimization.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, with experience deploying and managing clusters in on-premises environments.
- Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including hardware, networking, and storage.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting greenfield projects in high-stakes environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices within the defence or similarly sensitive sectors is highly regarded.
