Telum is working with a national company that is a market leader in precast concrete products.
We are seeking WHS Co-ordinator to work at their site in Rutherford.
The role involves working collaboratively with team members to achieve risk reduction / management, injury prevention and continual improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with teams to maintain the health safety and environmental systems.
- Working with teams to ensure compliance with internal and legislative requirements.
- Support the business with internal and external audits.
- Continuously assess the work environment for injury prevention, by engaging employees to work a culture of continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents and workplace injuries.
- Maintaining files and documentation to meet internal and legislative requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous work experience in a construction, civil or precast environment
- Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, to improve safety, efficiencies and reliability.
- Experience working in a high-risk environment and driving a safety culture.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and able to be completing tasks autonomously without direction.
- Cert IV in a WHS minimum
