The duties and team
Reporting into the electrical supervisor on site you will enjoy working in an autonomous role where you will be responsible for; -
- Maintenance and installs on fans, pumps, vents
- Jumbo box installs
- Drill rig servicing
- 1000v reticulation
- Leaky feeder comms maintenance
- General site electrical inc lighting and power
- Auto mine installs
The site and FIFO
This UG hard rock mine is located in N.QLD, in the Mt Isa region. It offers;-
- Attractive, modern camp set up with good facilities (gym, wet mess etc)
- The camp is close to the mine, so limited travel in and out
- A high standard of food and quality canteen
- 2:2 roster where you'll fly in on company time and out on your time

Your skills and experience
You will have 2-3+ years recent heavy industrial/mining experience, ideally working as an underground shift electrician, as well as;-
- Trade qualifications
- Have a good understanding of underground systems and able to work autonomously in a crew of 1
- Excellent safety standards
- Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO roster
