The Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) is the specialised child and youth mental health service within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services. We provide a comprehensive response to the varying needs of infants, children and young people with mental health problems or mental disorders and their families / carers in the Logan-Beaudesert and Browns Plains communities.

About the Role
- Provide operational advice and direction to a team of multidisciplinary child and youth mental health clinicians to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
- Utilise high-level communication, inter-personal skills, negotiation and conflict management skills to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and achieve key performance indicators for effective service delivery. This includes identification and escalation of profession specific supervisory issues to relevant professional directors.
- Co-ordinate service succession planning within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service in collaboration with discipline specific seniors and professional directors.
