Your Opportunity:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level research and operational management for research projects in the Endocrinology & Diabetes department at the Queensland Children's Hospital. This position works closely with the Director of Endocrinology & Diabetes and supports researchers, and research staff to manage the operational functioning and strategic growth of the endocrine and diabetes research program. The role will strengthen key internal and external partnerships and lead all operational business functions including human resources; resource and research asset management; workplace health and safety; and research administration including support with ethics, clinical trials and governance compliance, higher-level data management and strategic planning, protocol development, grant applications and grant management and reporting. The position will also be responsible for annual auditing and formal reporting on research activities, and foster research training and mentoring of nursing, medical and allied health members of the department.
