This is an exciting role with the opportunity to lead and influence a growing sporting organisation, and to be a valued member of a local sporting community. Upcoming development of a brand new, state-of-the-art gymnastics facility in Bridgewater promises an array of opportunities in this role, leading a significant new chapter at Hobart Gymnastics Academy.

About Hobart Gymnastics Academy:

Hobart Gymnastics Academy (the Academy) is a medium sized, not for profit, sporting body with approximately 500 members, governed by a Board of Directors (the Board).

The Academy offers a wide range of both competitive and recreational programs and services, including women’s artistic gymnastics, men’s artistic gymnastics, and trampoline sports.

Proudly located at Bridgewater within the Brighton Municipality, the Academy greatly values its role as the only accredited gymnastics organisation servicing Hobart’s Northern suburbs and surrounding communities.

The vision is to be a dynamic cohesive Club, recognised for our professionalism and contribution to the sport of gymnastics. Our mission is to advance the sport of gymnastics by providing a safe, rewarding and enjoyable training environment that allows our gymnasts to achieve their full potential.

The Academy is working closely with Brighton Government and the Tasmanian Government on an exciting vision for a new, purpose-built gymnastics centre in Bridgewater to serve as the home of the sport in the region. These plans are progressing rapidly and the Academy Manager will have a critical advisory role in the planning and development process.
