About the role

Within this role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents in our 10-bed Children's Ward.
  • Maintain high clinical standards, ensuring the continuous delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes for patients and their families.
  • Step into a leadership role as the Nurse Unit Manager's deputy when needed, gaining valuable management experience.

Position Overview:

  • Permanent Full-time and Part-time Positions available (Please specify your preferred hours in your application)
  • Location : Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Associate Nurse Unit Manager
  • Salary Range: 112,174 - $115,949 per annum, pro rata + super and applicable penalties

What You Bring:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • A minimum of four years' post-graduate nursing experience in Paediatrics
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence with advanced assessment and nursing skills
  • Strong commitment to maintaining high clinical, safety, and professional standards
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and a dedication to advancing nursing practice
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and staff supervision capabilities

Desirable:

  • Graduate Certificate or higher in Paediatric Nursing
