About the role
Within this role, you will:
- Deliver exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents in our 10-bed Children's Ward.
- Maintain high clinical standards, ensuring the continuous delivery of excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes for patients and their families.
- Step into a leadership role as the Nurse Unit Manager's deputy when needed, gaining valuable management experience.
Position Overview:
- Permanent Full-time and Part-time Positions available (Please specify your preferred hours in your application)
- Location : Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Associate Nurse Unit Manager
- Salary Range: 112,174 - $115,949 per annum, pro rata + super and applicable penalties
What You Bring:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of four years' post-graduate nursing experience in Paediatrics
- Demonstrated clinical excellence with advanced assessment and nursing skills
- Strong commitment to maintaining high clinical, safety, and professional standards
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and a dedication to advancing nursing practice
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and staff supervision capabilities
Desirable:
- Graduate Certificate or higher in Paediatric Nursing
