About the role
MSS Security is looking for Relief Security Control Room Operators responsible for monitoring and managing the systems and equipment in a control room. This is a relief role hence you will be expected to work across multiple sites with varying rosters. This is a great opportunity for you to get trained across multiple sites and gain heaps of experience which would help you in career progression. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team in corporate domain.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitoring security cameras and alarms to ensure the safety of the premises

Responding quickly to any security threats or incidents

Communicating with security personnel and emergency services as needed

Recording and reporting any unusual activity or breaches

Enforce procedural rules and regulations

Ensure the personal safety of staff, visitors, and property

Maintain security and safety for assigned area

Monitor CCTV, control room duties and access control
Skills & experience
-
Certificate II in Security Operations and Current First Aid certificate
-
NSW Security Licence
-
Ability to closely monitor multiple screens and detect any unusual activity or potential issues
-
Capable of making prompt and effective decisions in high-pressure situations
-
Ability to remain composed and focused during emergencies or stressful situations
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with security personnel and emergency services
