There is an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager in the Group Planning finance team.
We are seeking an individual that has proven experience in financial planning and analysis at an enterprise level.
The key attributes required for this role is the ability to join the dots across the enterprise, commercial acumen, and ability to think conceptually to analyse abstract ideas to create value for the enterprise.
Strong communication and ability to influence outcomes with senior leaders and across the organisation is a must.
The candidate will also possess experience in leading a high performing team and a track record and passion for developing others.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of the Group’s 5-year Forecasting and Group Budget
- Analysis of the Group’s financial and operational performance to support Market Results and Quarterly Market Updates
- Collaborate with the broader Finance team to deliver Financial Results
- Prepare Board Papers e.g. Finance Treasury, Operations and Initiatives and Carindale Property Trust
- Responsible for ad hoc financial analysis to support enterprise decisions, this will involve collaboration with broader finance, treasury and legal teams.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and training to enhance team capabilities in financial analysis, business knowledge and commercial thinking.
This role is permanent, full-time
What sets you apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; or professional certification (e.g., CAANZ, CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
- Proven analytical skills and financial modelling skills
- Curious mindset and ability to operate in the “grey”
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to executives and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
