The Role
We’re looking for a high-performing and entrepreneurial Operational Risk Manager to join our team! As a results-driven professional with a passion for risk management, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk governance framework, developing and implementing robust risk quantification and reporting strategies, and collaborating closely with business units to embed risk management practices into their daily operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework, ensuring its continuous improvement, monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders. Utilise various risk techniques, including Bayesian, Delphi, Monte Carlo, and Value at Risk methods.
- Quantify risk exposures using statistical and mathematical models, prepare detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk appetite metrics.
- Build a strong risk culture within the organisation through training and awareness programs, promoting a culture of proactive risk management and accountability.
- Develop insights, challenge assumptions, and present findings clearly to stakeholders. Utilise critical thinking and analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, providing strategic guidance on risk appetite and tolerance. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on risk management strategies.

- Strong risk management skills, including technical knowledge and analytical abilities
- Industry experience in risk consulting, equity capital markets, or similar fields, with business operations understanding
