This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $100,554 - $109,496 (HEW 7), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Based at our St Lucia campus
The Outreach Program Coordinator will develop and deliver a range of on-campus and in-school activities designed to broaden access to higher education for students from regional and low socio-economic backgrounds.
Key responsibilities will include:

Manage, design, develop, and implement UQ's School Outreach Program for students in Years 7-12.

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, UQ faculties, and government.

Coordinate and participate in the delivery of outreach activities, including on-campus experiences, workshops, and presentations.

Supervise Outreach Program Officers, including workload management and performance appraisals.

Oversee the administrative aspects of outreach activities, including communication, event planning, and budget management.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes, including post-event analysis and the implementation of evaluation mechanisms.
The position is based at the St Lucia Campus and involves frequent planned travel to partnered high schools as well as UQ Gatton Campus.
About You-
Undergraduate degree (preferably in humanities, communications, education, or behavioural sciences) with relevant experience, or extensive experience and expertise in a technical or administrative field.

Demonstrated project/event management experience, including the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland secondary and tertiary education systems and understanding of barriers to tertiary study.

High-level communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Possession of a valid open driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Blue Card: Holder of a current Queensland Government Blue Card or the ability to attain one.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
