THE ROLEAn exciting opportunity exists for a committed and passionate individual to join the Office for Youth as a Project Officer.
You will provide policy, project management and administrative support for the Youth portfolio to improve outcomes for young people in Victoria. You will work in a dynamic team providing authoritative and high-quality advice to the Minister for Youth and senior executive on a wide range of matters of strategic and/or critical impact. This includes using your data analysis and reporting skills to improve the outcomes of youth programs.
We are seeking someone who is flexible, well organised, and a supportive team player who can build relationships across government and community sectors, and with young people. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the issues impacting on young people across Victoria and the role of early intervention and prevention initiatives to improve outcomes for young people.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

* Assist in the development, consultation, and delivery of policies and projects, including providing accurate advice on complex issues related to the Office for Youth's policies and programs. Contribute to the effective program delivery and policy development by working with the team to address specific issues.
* Help monitor, support, and analyse the implementation and delivery of key projects and programs. This includes supporting the development of compliance and evaluation strategies.
* Participate in branch and division projects by providing input and support throughout all stages, from conception to evaluation. Ensure that policies and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with proper risk management, while keeping stakeholders informed and applying subject matter expertise to devise practical solutions.
