DescriptionVeterinary Nurse Surgical Team Leader – Full Time – Dromana

Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five operated veterinary hospitals combined with an emergency and referral centre on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
We are currently looking for an experienced veterinary nurse to work closely with our clinic manager and Client Services Area Leader to oversee the day to day running of our surgery team and provide training and mentoring to our junior nurses. Additional support and mentorship is provided by our Nurse Educator and networking with group Area Leaders across our clinics.
Key Responsibilities Include
Train and mentor junior nurses in line with training plans developed by the Nurse Educator & Clinic ManagerMonitor compliance with company standards of careMonitor customer service standardsManage day plansCoordinate and allocate staff to various tasks to ensure clinic plans are metIdentify operational issues and make recommendations to resolve
Our Ideal Candidate Is Someone Who Has
A Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingA minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary nurseA desire to provide and uphold a high standard of patient and client careA passion for training and developmentEffective interpersonal and communication skillsStrong problem solving and organisational skills
