About the Role
As a Building Services Coordinator , you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the building infrastructure and services across multiple sites in East Victoria. You will ensure that each site remains functional, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations. The role will involve providing exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, as you will be the first point of contact for managing the workplace environment.
This role will report to the Building Services Manager, People Operations and is located at Benalla or Wodonga , Victoria.
What you will deliver
- Manage multiple sites in East Victoria, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, safety and contractor management.
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues, maintaining a proactive approach to facility management.
- Coordinate and track preventative maintenance, ensuring timely completion of operational requests and efficient maintenance processes.
- Manage WHS compliance process for contractors.
- Ensure performance is in accordance with defined processes and within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) timeframes.
- Engage stakeholders through effective communication and share insights to improve team performance.
- Process invoices and manage allocated budgets.
- Drive a culture of care, curiosity, and connection, fostering employee feedback through a “Listen, Learn, and Act” approach.
- Support innovation and adaptability in the digital landscape, contributing to the growth of the network and the energy transition.
What we like about you
- Experience in Facility Services or trade background will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret workplace architectural and engineering drawings.
- A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Outstanding organisational skills, a strong ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to customer service
- Experience using SAP is desirable although not essential.
- Current Victorian Driving License as travel to sites is required.
