Journey Early Learning Sebastopol provides daily care for 92 children aged from six weeks to six years old in a nurturing and inviting environment. Our centre is a place where both our young explorers and educators feel truly at ease.

About the role:
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.
As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector. As an Educator with Journey Early Learning, you will be supported by your Centre Leadership Team, as you learn the fundamental skills of being an inspired Educator within the Journey family.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment
About you:
You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.
Key skills and requirements:
An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
An approved Working with Children Check (State Specific)
Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
