About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded and data-savvy Market Analyst to join our team. This role will provide critical insights by analyzing various data points within the business unit, working closely with the commercial team, and leveraging all available data resources. The ideal candidate will be proficient in pulling, slicing, and building data to support strategic decision-making.
In addition, this person will serve as the primary point of contact for our wholesalers , ensuring seamless collaboration and data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret market data to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Work alongside the commercial team to provide insights on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Manage and integrate data from multiple sources, including sales reports, market intelligence, and financial metrics.
- Build dashboards and reports to track key business KPIs.
- Be the first point of contact for wholesalers, ensuring efficient communication and data exchange.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, promotions, and product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to align business objectives.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a data-driven role (Market Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar), preferably within the pharmaceutical industry .
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data visualization tools .
- Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of sales and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
