- Permanent, Part-time or Fulltime (0.8 EFT / 64 Hours or 1EFT / 80 Hours + ADO)

- Salary Package: $91k - $112k + Superannuation
- Rotating 24-hour shift roster, covering 7 days a week, with an expectation of contributing to the night duty rotation.

About us
Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale, set to open in May 2025 . Jointly funded by the Australian Federal Government and the Victorian Government , this specialist statewide service will be managed by Alfred Health .
The service will provide 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18 and over, in a gender-inclusive, home-like therapeutic environment . With a strong focus on family and chosen supports , Ngamai Wilam is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes long-term recovery .
About the role
As an ANUM , you will:
-
provide dynamic clinical leadership , ensuring inclusive delegation of roles, active participation in co-designed care planning, and responsive escalation of concerns.
-
l ead clinical handovers with a focus on transparent, strengths-based communication that supports holistic and coordinated care.
-
embody the principles of recovery-oriented practice , fostering a culture of reflection, professional growth, and continuous service improvement to enhance participant outcomes.
-
have a demonstrated commitment to recovery-oriented practice and a strong foundation in contemporary mental health nursing principles are essential.
About You
- Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing
- Post graduate work experience
- Other relevant tertiary qualifications to the role, highly regarded
- Experience working in a mental health residential setting
- Experience in dialogical practice
- Experience working with people with an eating disorder diagnosis
- Australian working rights.
- Current Victorian Driver License, Working with Children Check, and Background Check.
