Role Summary:
As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers on field-related issues, warranty complaints, and resolutions. This role involves supporting and conducting site commissioning, service, and repair activities at customer locations while ensuring technical and commercial excellence. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality service and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Process and accept customer orders.
- Prepare cost estimates according to specifications, ensuring accuracy.
- Schedule orders efficiently.
- Prepare quotations for standard products using predefined lists.
- Review and evaluate customer specifications and requirement documents.
- Compile technical and commercial offer documents.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and support.
- Assist customers during site visits and service calls.
- Process and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Develop and implement technical solutions for complex issues.
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish a safe and proper work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform in-house and on-site repairs and service activities.
- Provide technical support and training as required.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Many years of relevant experience in field service, technical support, or a related role.
- Experience serving customers in industries such as oil & gas, power, chemical, and water.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites.
- SAP knowledge in SD, MM, and PP modules.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other technical drawing tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to reprioritize tasks effectively.
