As our Test Automation Lead, you’ll spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge automated testing strategies, playing a crucial role in maintaining excellence.In this SME leadership role, you’ll own the test automation process and shape our Test Practice, driving innovation and efficiency. You’ll also act as a key business partner, building and maintaining strong relationships across NGM and with external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and continuous improvement.

What will your key responsibilities include?
- Leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality board and committee papers, summarizing operational performance, strategic initiatives, and progress toward goals.
- Designing and implementing automated testing suites to reduce manual effort and improve software quality.
- Developing and refining test automation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across all technologies.
- Driving the implementation and continuous improvement of test automation to support Agile and continuous delivery environments.
- Leading the development and execution of automated test plans and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Coaching and mentoring Automation Test Analysts, building capability in UAT and test automation initiatives.
- Collaborating with BAU and project stakeholders to achieve testing milestones and deliverables.
- Establishing and managing automation test strategies in alignment with organisational needs and DevOps practices.
- Monitoring, reporting, and resolving automation defects throughout all phases of the testing cycle.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in Java or C# programming and experience in Mobile Automation.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in automated test tools such as Selenium and Appium, with a strong understanding of Restful and SOAP APIs.
- Familiar with collaboration and task management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Proficient in test management tools like JIRA and ALM and experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines tools.
- Strong experience in working on Cloud based Testing tools like BrowserStack.
- Prior experience working on software development projects in an automation lead role (desirable).
- Experience or demonstrated capacity to provide SME leadership and mentoring.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and positively collaborate to achieve business outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Well-developed adaptability, emotional intelligence, resilience, perseverance and active listening skills.
- Experience working at a professional level with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a dynamic, evolving environment.
