About the role
ArbPro Pty Ltd is seeking a Truck driver/Labourer to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW for 30-40 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company that provides a range of arboricultural services to commercial, government and residential clients.
What you'll be doing
- Operate medium and/or heavy rigid (Crashbox) trucks to transport equipment, materials and personnel to project sites
- Assist arborists and other team members with manual labour tasks such as tree pruning, removal, stump grinding and site clean-up
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the business
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a truck driver, preferably in the arboriculture or construction industry
- Current MR or HR truck licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, safety-focused work environment
- A basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and repairs
- Experience in machine operation such as excavator or skidsteer in arboriculture, horticulture or a related field would be highly regarded
