Join one of Sulzer Australia’s largest and most dynamic service centres as a Technical Specialist (Electrical)! We are seeking an exceptional specialist to lead the way in High Voltage (HV) or Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
About The Role
In this hands-on role, you will be a key player in maintaining and repairing electrical rotating machinery, delivering high-level testing and assessments, and mentoring the next generation of talent. Key Responsibilities
Perform high-level testing and assessments.Prepare detailed technical reports.Provide training and mentoring to team members.Act as a subject matter expert in HV or LV motors.Disassemble, assemble, and repair HV or LV rotating machinery.Conduct static and dynamic testing of electrical equipment.Rewind electric motors and generators (desirable).Balance motors to precise standards.Maintain quality assurance by adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently.Collaborate with a professional team to meet project goals.
What We’re Looking For
Expertise in High Voltage or Low Voltage systems.Proven experience as a High Voltage or Low Voltage Winder or Electrical Fitter.In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment and rotating machinery.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
