About The Role

Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, the Compliance Officer will provide effective legal, regulatory and internal policy obligations across all our business departments, ensuring compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) ensuring compliance with ISO standards 45001, 14001, and 9001
  • Build strong relationships with external auditing bodies and take an active, lead role in annual external audits
  • Conduct internal audits and present findings and recommendations that drive corrective action
  • Management & monitoring of the business compliance software system Mango
  • Management of Annual ISO audits nationally
  • Gather and analyse risk data metrics and produce reports
  • Develop and manage documentation related to the IMS including policies, procedures, and records
  • Ensure compliance regarding the completion of regular reviews and inspections for all logistics equipment
  • Develop SOP’s, implement internal auditing of SOP’s and oversee employee training across SOP’s
  • Coordinate training requirements, including creating training materials in relation to the IMS
  • Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and resolve quality issues
  • Collaborate with internal cross department committees to ensure compliance and continuous improvement including WHS, Modern slavery, Packaging & Environment, APCO and more.
  • Communicate and develop great relationships & repour with internal stakeholders

About You

  • 3 + years’ experience minimum requirements
    Strong understanding of ISO standards - 45001, 14001 and 9001
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Warehousing and Distribution environment
  • Skilled in conducting and leading audits, analysing findings and implementing corrective actions
  • Strong analytical skills to assess quality performance using data and metrics
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset, able to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders ensuring objectives are met
